The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

• Identification documents (including passports, driving licence, other ID cards, marriage certificates, deed polls, copies of credit card and utility bills, copies of bank and building society statements, other documentary evidence)

• Financial information (including bank details, national insurance number, insurance, employment, income and expenditure)

• Employment details

• Education details

• Other information that you may provide to us.

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for employment or the provision of services by the Company. We also receive personal information indirectly, from third parties and public sources.

We use the information that you have given us in order to manage our employees and deliver our services.

We may share this information with service providers acting on the instructions of the Company. Where this is the case, a written contract will be put in place between the Company and the provider to set out the purposes for which the information can be used and the security measures that must be in place. This contract will ensure that the service provider agrees never to use your data for any additional purpose not set out in the agreement with the Company.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

Your information is securely stored on the Company’s servers and (where applicable) hardware.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
